37 hrs per week for 39 Weeks per year (term time plus training days)

Salary: NSB Scale Point 2-5 £22,366 - £23,500 pa FTE, £18,689.40 - £19,637.04 pa Actual

We are looking for a versatile and enthusiastic member of staff to work as part of our Inclusion Team with a focus on supporting a range of students.

Working with the support of the SENDCo's you will have responsibility for implementing programmes with individuals/groups with a range of needs both inside and outside of the classroom. The role will include liaising with teachers about the needs of students, ensuring they can access the curriculum and may include the management and preparation of resources. This role will also include liaising with external agencies.

What we are looking for

The successful applicant will:

ü Be motivated, determined and resilient when supporting students with SEND.

ü Collaborate to deliver whole school strategies that ensure all students make rapid progress.

ü Work as part of the wider team to identity, monitor and close any emerging gaps.

ü Model professional skills when working with parents, carers and outside agencies.

ü Hold an ELSA qualification or be willing to train as an ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant)

ü Follow the Graduated Approach to ensure students are supported with appropriate provision.

Hours: 37 hours a week for 39 weeks per year (term time plus training days)

8.15 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. with a 45-minute unpaid lunch on Monday to Thursday

8.15 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. with a 45-minute unpaid lunch on Friday
