Full Job Description

Are you experienced working within an income/debt collection team? Do you have a range of administration skills that you can use both working alone and as a team?
If so, we have a great opportunity within the University's Finance Department.
You will form part of a team collecting the University's income (c£200m). Alongside your attention to detail, key aspects of the role include:
o adhering to credit control processes to manage unpaid income.
o maintaining a robust and up to date control environment
o working closely with external/internal audit and other external parties, including debt collection agencies.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a proven track record of successfully managing income and payment functions within a medium to large organisation. You will be able to:
o Evidence a detailed understanding of income and payment processes and control environments.
o Quickly and accurately process financial data using tools such as Excel.
o Show experience of dealing effectively with external/internal audits and managing external partners.
o Demonstrate a GCSE in English and Maths (at least a grade C or higher) or equivalent qualification.
