We are a clinically-focused service, working in partnership with all patients, service users and their social networks, and with other services to provide strength-based recovery treatment. Our purpose is to reduce drug and alcohol related harms to individuals, families and communities; to maximize the quality of life and well-being of service users, enable service users to make better choices about their lives, and to enable recovery. We are proud to offer one of the most comprehensive and successful treatment programmes in the country.,

  • Delivery of Independent Non-Medical Prescribing (INMP) services in substance misuse; substitute therapies and abstinence maintenance
  • Prescribe evidence-based treatments for people with substance misuse dependency (including stabilization, intermediate maintenance and detoxification regimes)
  • Act within competencies to provide other relevant substance misuse treatments for example community alcohol detoxification regimes and vitamin supplementation
  • Support service users to achieve their recovery goals and community re-integration
  • Be a specialist resource for the service team
  • Work with a high degree of autonomy and self-management

Our mission is to make a positive difference to people's lives by improving the quality of life for all we serve. Our values are: We Care, We Respect, We are Inclusive - so we are looking for people who live and breathe these qualities when supporting service users and carers, and in their relationships with colleagues in the Trust and our partner organisations.
