Full Job Description

Our passionate and committed Independent Reviewing Unit has recently been
strengthened with additional capacity in order to ensure that we meet the needs of our
children and young people who are Looked After and subject to Child Protection
planning. In Shropshire we believe that robust, consistent IRO/CP Chair oversight is
fundamental to ensuring that children's plans progress and that their permanence is
held in mind at every stage.

We are seeking experienced IRO/CP Chairs who can bring their skills, knowledge and
confidence to the team and can work with likeminded colleagues to ensure that the
best outcomes are achieved for children. Shropshire's Independent Reviewing Unit
benefits from being staffed with highly skilled and experienced workers, therefore we
are looking for new team members who have at least 3 years demonstrable
experience in IRO and/or CP Chairing work.
