Independent Support Worker (Variable hours)

Would you like to work in a caring, supportive environment where you can make a real difference to people's lives?, Providing high-quality support to our young adults and helping to plan their day-to-day lives whilst working to achieve their goals and promote their independence, whether this be supporting with independent travel training, learning to cook or finding work experience.
-Encouraging and supporting with tasks and goals they have set for themselves.
-Recording session data and outcomes.

Some personal care and administration of medicine may be required depending on who you are supporting (Full training provided).
-UK Driving Licence
-Aged 18 and above
-Right to work in the UK
-Willing to undertake a DBS Check. The initial cost of the DBS application will be paid for by halow.
Please note, it is a criminal offence for people who are barred from working in Regulated Activity (Under the Safeguarding and Vulnerable Groups Act 2006) to apply for role that requires them to work unsupervised with that particular group (i.e. adults at risk, children or both).

Professional or personal experience of care work is desirable, but we also pride ourselves on a values-based approach and the main skill we are looking for is an ambition to help others.
