Induction Ambassador - Finance and Economics Department

The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role. The Finance and Economics Department are currently seeking to recruit proactive, organised, professional, and enthusiastic students currently studying either MSc Accounting and Finance or MSc Finance to become Induction Ambassadors. Successful applicants will assist in the delivery of the MSc Accounting and Finance/MSc Finance induction sessions for January starters. Successful candidates will be required to support in the delivery of induction, share experiences and answer any questions the new students may have about their studies and experience at Manchester Met. You will also be required to lead a short campus tour for a small group of students. This role is only open to current Manchester Met Students who meet the following requirements -

• A student currently enrolled on MSc Accounting and Finance or MSc Finance
• Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to engage with staff and students
• Represent their course and share experience
• Responsible attitude and the ability to show initiative
• Able to contribute and work effectively as part of a team or independently
• A commitment to providing excellent customer service and a professional approach, at all times
• A positive perspective on your course and the University
• Being a course rep is preferred but not essential
