Industrial Cleaner

This role sits within our Private Sector FM business division that provides catering, cleaning, hard services, pest control, and security services to a wide range of prestigious clients, within the Business & Industry market. About The Role: Days of Working: Monday to Friday, dependent on business requirements. Typically, Monday - Friday. Due to machine down time or business request weekends and evenings may be required. Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday 06:00am to 15:00pm. Friday 06:00-13:00pm However hours may vary depending on business requirements. Overtime available with advanced rates. Working as an industrial cleaner here at OCS you will play a crucial role in providing safe, clean environments which our customers thrive in their workspaces. Your responsibilities will include working at height, preforming pressure washing, window cleaning using a reach and wash system, machine cleaning, ad-hoc porterage and ad-hoc deep cleans through out the GKN account. Occasional travel to other locations will be a requirement travel will be paid for and arranged by OCS. You will also:

• Maintain Health and Safety standards at all times.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained and stored correctly
• Work alongside your supervisor and team supporting daily routines and workloads.
• Manage equipment, materials, and stock levels informing supervisor of stock requests
• Carry out general cleaning duties and or including outside maintenance work.
• Ensure you are presentable and approachable.
  
  Industrial cleaning experience essential
• Attitude for working at height essential
• IPAF license desirable.
• PASMA licenses desirable.
• Confined space desirable.
• Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
• To be reliable and responsible with a flexible approach
• Strong people skills, good communication with active listening.
• Attention to detail and high standards of work.
• Good relationship building skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
• A Good understanding of Health and Safety regulations.
• A willingness to work as a team and follow directions from both management and client., Must have Right to Work in the UK
• A background in industrial experience
• Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks.
• You will be able to work to deadlines and priorities as well as be flexible with working hours and days.
• Experienced Industrial cleaner
• IPAF is desirable.
