Industrial Placement - Quantity Surveyor

We're looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks team based in Falmer, East Sussex, on an industrial placement., As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll be assisting in managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of projects. Your day to day will include:

• Assisting in preparing and managing project budgets, cost plans, and cost estimates.
• Supporting in the measurement and valuation of work done on-site.
• Helping prepare and submit tenders and contract documents.
• Conducting site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure work is being carried out to specifications.

What are we looking for? We're on the lookout for students undertaking a degree in Quantity Surveying, who have the option or requirement to complete a placement year from 2025 - 2026. After your placement, you'll be returning to university with a graduation year of 2027. The role of Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:
• Strong interest in construction and project management.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Hold full UK driving licence.
