Industrial Placement Quantity Surveyor

We're looking for a Quantity Surveyor student to join our Construction team based in Southampton, Hampshire on an Industrial placement., As Industrial Placement candidate, you will assist in managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience, receive mentorship from experienced professionals, and develop a strong foundation in quantity surveying. Your day to day will include:

• Assisting in preparing and managing project budgets, cost plans, and cost estimates
• Supporting in the measurement and valuation of work done on-site.
• Helping prepare and submit tenders and contract documents.
• Conducting site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure work is being carried out to specifications.

  We're on the lookout for students undertaking a degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field, who have the option or requirement to complete a placement year from 2025 - 2026. After your placement, you'll be returning to university with a graduation year of 2027., Excellent numerical and analytical skills.

• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Must hold Full UK Drivers Licence with access to own vehicle.
