Industrial Quality Engineering Placement (12.5 months)

During this internship, the activities you will undertake are likely to include:

• Carrying out investigations and root cause analysis into reported quality issues supporting operational teams across multiple Airbus sites;


• Ensuring that appropriate corrective and preventative actions are taken by the accountable department by working as part of multifunctional teams in line with Quality rules and standards;


• Delivering changes, best practices, synergies and promoting business excellence by working with the Quality transnational teams to deploy harmonised processes;


• Familiarisation with digital tools including Google Suite and big data tools to analyse non-conformance data in order to support non-conformance reduction;


• Opportunity to develop knowledge and understanding of our wing product working as part of one of our lineside teams.
  
  Studying towards a degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent;


• Passion about Airbus and the aviation industry;


• Proficient oral and written communication skills;


• Collaborates well within a team;

  Our Broughton based team guarantees the traceability, quality, safety and airworthiness of all supplied, sub-contracted and manufactured products and services to both our internal and external customers for Airbus Commercial Wings.
