Industry Liaison Officer

Are you passionate about Higher Apprenticeships, fostering strong industry connections and helping businesses and individuals develop? We have an opportunity for you to join our OfS funded Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship project as the Industry Liaison Officer.

As the Industry Liaison Officer, you will play a pivotal role in our OfS-funded project to develop a fully online and accessible Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship (CMDA). You will engage with local employers, including those on the Isle of Wight and New Forest, to promote the CMDA programme and its benefits to businesses and gain employer feedback on the programme as it develops. Your expertise will help identify skills gaps and support the upskilling of staff through this innovative programme.

The role will include: arranging and leading visits to local employers to promote the CMDA programme; providing information, advice, and guidance on the benefits of the CMDA; undertaking skills audits with employers to identify suitable staff for development and working with local FE providers to promote progression into the CMDA programme. After consulting with relevant stakeholders you will develop and implement a marketing strategy for the CMDA, create marketing material, and start to recruit learners onto the programme.
