Full Job Description
The Royal Hallamshire Hospital has a high level isolation unit (HLIU) which is used for the treatment of contact high consequence infectious diseases (HCID) such as Ebola. The department has a dedicated HCID ( highly contagious infectious diseases ) clinical educator who you will work closely with., Assess, arrange, facilitate, monitor, and audit mandatory and specialised training for the multi-disciplinary team of all grades in Infectious Diseases and Tropical Medicine, within the resources available. To act as a role model and teacher, providing mentorship and support, demonstrating exemplary practice to all members of the Multi-disciplinary Team. you will also need the skills to develop and refresh training packages to ensure that our staff are trained to the highest standards.
We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team department for a full time ( permanent) clinical educator post, with the expectation that you maintain your ward based skills by working a minimum of 1 clinical shift per week., We are looking for a highly skilled communicator with the ability to use effective verbal, written and IT skills to provide high educational achievement within the care group.
