Full Job Description

The Performance and Information team provide a high-quality analytics service for clinicians and managers to support decision making. The team sits centrally in the Trust and looks after business intelligence, data analytics, information governance and ensures that data is dealt with legally, securely, efficiently and effectively in order to deliver best possible care.
The successful applicant will be part of a high performing team managing a comprehensive data warehouse containing integrated data from clinical, finance and workforce systems. The team has been recognised by NHSI as a national leader in developing high quality performance reports.
We are looking for a proactive, organised and collaborative individual, with a passion for using data and visualisations to influence and provide insights to help improve health outcomes of people experiencing mental health problems., The post holder will be working as part of a centralised Information team and be responsible for providing a data analytics and dashboard/visualisation development service to clinicians and managers to support decision making and evidence-based care. You will be responsible for the development of submission of statutory returns, whilst driving insights, change and evidence interventions.
Additionally, the postholder will be undertaking and explaining complex concepts and information people across the business and will be creating effective data visualisations in order to convey information and improve data literacy.
This role is offered on a permanent basis and will be based at our Tolworth Hospital site. You will be working in accordance with the Trust Agile working policy.
As part of the interview and assessment process, applicants can expect a written assessment alongside a presentation. The interview and assessments will take place in person, and the topics for the assessments will be given on the day of the interview.

+ Develop and produce external mandatory returns to an agreed timetable.
+ Produce regular internal reports to an agreed timetable. These will include:
+ Contract monitoring
+ Trust Board reports
+ Data quality reports
+ Performance indicator reports and clinical dashboards
+ Utilise SQL on a daily basis to maintain the Trust Data Warehouse
+ Lead on the development of data quality monitoring tools and techniques to support the accurate reporting of all internal and external reports.
+ Develop data feeds into the Data Warehouse and dashboards/visualisations for use by relevant Trust staff using Tableau software.
+ Contribute to the provision of a high quality information analysis service for all areas within the Trust interpreting and analysing data, providing clear, accurate and timely reports to managers, clinicians and other Trust staff.
+ Undertake work with senior clinicians and managers to support the development of strategic plans for the provision and development of information analysis within directorates.
+ Develop processes for converting extracted data into national and locally defined data sets.
