This newly created role will support our commitment to ensure that we process data lawfully, fairly, and transparently, ensuring information is stored securely. The Vacancy: Information Governance Administrator We are seeking a well-organised and driven administrator to support our already established Information Governance (IG) framework to ensure compliance and best practice working at Dougie Mac. This role involves administrative tasks, updating our IG action plan, assisting with audits, review of key documents and assessing incidents. You will also raise awareness of data protection; you will engage with various staff members across the organisation at all levels. The post holder must therefore have a good knowledge of data handling practices and regulations, as well as good
organisational and collaborative working abilities. You will work independently and report into our Information Governance Lead who you will also support with general data protection and information security tasks., Key Responsibilities: Essential admin tasks, including recording minutes, creating documents and preparing reports. Assist with information governance audits and analysis Engage with staff to provide advice and ensure good practice is embedded Review data incidents, highlight potential risks and provide insights to reduce risks. Assist with the submission of the DSPT on an annual basis
