Full Job Description
The Infrastructure Asset Manager plays a key role in developing asset management strategies and ensuring infrastructure resilience. The position requires close collaboration with internal teams, contractors, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders. The role will be responsible for overseeing the management, maintenance, and strategic planning of physical infrastructure assets of Airband, such as FWA sites, cabinets or other private facilities.,
- Asset Lifecycle Management: Develop and implement asset management strategies for infrastructure assets.
- Conduct asset condition assessments, audits, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure assets are operated and maintained according to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational objectives.
- Track and forecast asset performance, service life, and replacement schedules.
- Monitor the lifecycle costs of assets, optimizing expenditure and maximizing asset value.
- Management and Leadership: Setting performance standards, monitoring progress, and providing feedback to ensure team members meet their goals.
- Assigning tasks appropriately to team members based on their skills and strengths.
- Being flexible and open to change and guiding your team through transitions.
- Providing a clear vision and direction for the team, coaching and mentoring to achieve goals and objectives.
- Data Management & Reporting: Manage asset data using asset management software, GIS, and other tools to ensure accurate records of asset condition, location, and lifecycle status.
- Prepare regular reports for stakeholders, including asset performance, risk assessments, maintenance activities, and financial performance. You will have proven experience of Infrastructure Asset Management and be able to demonstrate and uphold Airband's values. Able to provide, accept, and act appropriately, on feedback and be reactive to changes, capable of building rapport with internal customers and stakeholders. You will be a strategic thinker with strong understanding of budgeting and financial management. Exceptional problem-solving skills with ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
