Full Job Description

As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will be designing and developing infrastructure products as part of our Data Centre team, ensuring the operational stability of infrastructure solutions and implementing changes to meet the current and future demands. You will be guiding, supporting and coaching a team of infrastructure engineers, lending your experience and skills to inform their work and drive innovation, planning for future growth and responding to incidents and issues, providing first-class service.

  • Significant experience of managing 3rd parties who provide Data Centre services.
  • Significant experience of supporting Incident and Service Management and associated Data Centre Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tooling with the resolution of Data Centre critical major incidents/issues impacting live service.
  • Significant experience of providing specialist technical support and assistance to projects ensuring definition and delivery of requisite non-functional requirements to architectural and roadmap developments.
  • Significant experience of identifying process improvements and contributing to corporate standards and definition of best practice.
  • Significant experience of assisting with the implementation of agreed remedies to issues and preventative measures.
  • Significant experience of supporting end of life planning for infrastructure and ensuring compliance with quality management, risk management and security policies and procedures.
