Full Job Description

The selected candidate will form part of a global team of analysts responsible for BMI's Infrastructure Industry Research service, which provides BMI's clients with in-depth, market-level and thematic insights and analysis on the infrastructure sector and construction industry, with coverage extending to over 100 countries and markets globally.   • We'll Count on You To:
  • Stay current with the latest trends in the infrastructure and construction sectors both at a global level and within assigned markets.
  • Review and update a series of regional and/or market-specific reports on a quarterly basis.
  • Update ten-year forecasts for key construction and infrastructure indicators.
  • Produce insightful and actionable analysis and contribute to ad hoc reports and special projects.
  • Interact with clients, including preparing for and participating in both virtual and in-person meetings to present and discuss BMI views and outlooks.

    Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, public policy, international relations, transportation, energy, or related field.
  • Strong communication and writing skills as well as familiarity with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
  • Willingness and ability to work independently, managing multiple tasks and meeting periodic deadlines.
  • Ability to solve problems using critical and creative thinking.
  • Demonstrable interest in infrastructure and construction.
  • What Would Make You Stand Out:
  • One or more years of experience (academic or professional) in analysis and research related to infrastructure, construction or related fields such as transportation, energy, or real estate.
  • Prior experience interacting with clients.
  • Understanding of key concepts related to infrastructure project development and construction, such as the infrastructure project lifecycle, decarbonisation, multilateral infrastructure finance, project delivery methods, and public private partnerships (P3s).
