Full Job Description

This is a role for an ambitious and tenacious sales person who wants to grow their career in the exciting migrations and modernisation business within AWS.

You should be passionate about IT services and this role offers you opportunity to grow within AWS with the support of a skilled and diverse team.

You will work with the existing team, owning a specific market segment in our core migrations business, tasked with growing customer migrations to AWS., Work is an enjoyable activity interacting with a broad range of colleagues, customer and other solution & business professionals where you will be enabled to succeed;

The UKI Migrations & Modernisation team offers a fair and equitable environment where everyone should feel comfortable to speak up and have an opinion without fear;

Your opinions and ideas are valuable to our business. You will work with colleagues to grow a significant business within the UKI, responsible for the strategy and delivered revenue number. You are vital to the success of the UKI business.

About the team

This team comprises of migrations & modernisations experts who are very comfortable listening to customers and determining the most appropriate paths to deliver customer business value;

We are experts in Amazon services, AWS, 3rd party licensing (Microsoft, VMware, Nutanix), assessment data analysis, funding and commercial options for the customer;

We have technology opinions to solve customer challenges. We aim to have fun and create a friendly and open environment for all team members and guests.

You should have a background in on premises and cloud infrastructure solutions ideally with a good understanding of sales.

Key job responsibilities

You have a passion to delight customers by helping them modernise their business to the cloud;

You have an understanding of the on-premises and public cloud landscapes (Microsoft, VMware, Nutanix etc);

You will possess a business background, as well as a good technical background that enables you to easily interact with architects & business decision makers;

You are comfortable analysing and determining key customer insights from sales data, business drivers, market trends and customer feedback to recommend compelling solutions to customers;

You are comfortable managing multiple projects at once and building scaling mechanism;

You have knowledge of responding to Request for Proposal/Request for Information (RFP/RFI);

Good verbal and written communication skills;

You possesses a 2yr+ sales track record., You have a passion to delight customers by helping them modernise their business to the cloud;
