Full Job Description

  • Work closely with systems/software engineers and teams across the firm

  • Consult with users to understand and document business requirements and workflows

  • Tracking of technology requests, including maintaining a log of updates and clear target dates for completion

  • Expectation management and clear communication with the technology teams

  • Reporting of project progress and risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to the onboarding plan

  • Maintain traceability of functional specifications to requirements and objectives

  • Close collaboration with technology teams providing both product and project management support

    3-5 years of related professional project management experience

  • Experience in the financial services industry, preferably with technology related projects

  • Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (both verbal and written)

  • Ability to understand the business workflow (across products/regions) and technology components at a deep enough level to identify and solve problems

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously within a tight time frame

  • Experience of specifying and writing user specifications and business requirements for development teams

  • Experience with development methodologies including waterfall or agile as well as expertise with tools including JIRA and Confluence

  • Strong understanding and working knowledge of key data principles
