Full Job Description
- Work closely with systems/software engineers and teams across the firm
- Consult with users to understand and document business requirements and workflows
- Tracking of technology requests, including maintaining a log of updates and clear target dates for completion
- Expectation management and clear communication with the technology teams
- Reporting of project progress and risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to the onboarding plan
- Maintain traceability of functional specifications to requirements and objectives
- Close collaboration with technology teams providing both product and project management support
3-5 years of related professional project management experience - Experience in the financial services industry, preferably with technology related projects
- Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to understand the business workflow (across products/regions) and technology components at a deep enough level to identify and solve problems
- Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously within a tight time frame
- Experience of specifying and writing user specifications and business requirements for development teams
- Experience with development methodologies including waterfall or agile as well as expertise with tools including JIRA and Confluence
- Strong understanding and working knowledge of key data principles
