Full Job Description
- Lead and Manage Data Centre Move: Oversee the full life cycle of the data centre relocation, ensuring seamless transition with minimal disruption to business operations.
- Apply your deep understanding of infrastructure projects to manage hardware and software migration effectively.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the client and various internal/external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project.
- Identify potential risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies to ensure the project stays on track.
- Utilize your understanding of financial market products to align IT infrastructure with the bank's business needs.
- Drive change initiatives, ensuring all aspects of the project adhere to best practices and deliver desired outcomes.
- Coach and mentor junior members of the IT Project & Planning team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Project Management Certification: Relevant qualifications such as APM, PMP, or equivalent. - Strong grasp of various project management methodologies and their application in complex IT environments.
- In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, with a particular emphasis on data centre migration projects.
- Financial Services Experience: Understanding of financial market products and the unique demands of the banking sector.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven track record in driving and managing change within high-pressure environments.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop junior team members.
