The successful applicant will be an NHS employee and may therefore have contact with vulnerable service users. Unless exempt, we encourage and support staff to be vaccinated as this remains the best line of defence against COVID-19., The Infrastructure Support Administrator is an active member of the Digital Services Infrastructure Team whose role is to provide support on all day-to-day tasks and projects that the Infrastructure team are involved in.
They will work closely with the Technical Services Manager and all members of the team to provide support for procurement; technical refresh projects; license management; day to day maintenance and support of the Cornwall Foundation Trust (CFT) compute and telephony estate., + Assist Digital Services Infrastructure Team in processing all CFT IT based procurement requests.
+ Maintain, monitor and manage Infrastructure email account as required
+ Manage and process all IT related procurement requests received from CFT staff\Teams ensuring approvals are passed through to correct area in timely manner.
+ Communicate information on all IT requests to end users, stakeholders and the Digital Services Infrastructure team
+ Request further information if required from end users, stakeholders and Team Managers to ensure procurement requests are completed correctly.
+ Maintain and manipulate numerous sources of data to provide information for Digital Services team, allowing appropriate decisions to be made on Infrastructure based issues.
+ Manage, and when required create, an effective filing system for documentation created across the Digital Services Infrastructure team.
+ Periodically audit and rationalise documentation.
+ Maintain existing data sources and Standard Operating Procedures, ensuring that the team adhere to version control standards.
+ Act as a first point of contact for end users and stakeholders, resolving day-to-day issues where possible or escalating to Technical Services Manager\other senior team member(s), ensuring that problems or enquiries are co-ordinated through to resolution.
+ Participate in developing support documents and FAQ's for users.
+ Co-ordinate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
