Are you passionate about safeguarding vulnerable children and making a real difference? Join our team as an initial Child Protection Conference Attendee in Swindon and play a vital role in protecting children by conducting in-depth research, assessing risks, and making informed safeguarding decisions in collaboration with key partners. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain multiagency partnership experience within a police team. The vacancy is an agile working post, however, there is an expectation of attending conferences, training and meetings in person as required. This role will require regular travel into Swindon to attend conferences. In this position you will be responsible for: Conduct detailed checks on individuals and addresses related to child protection cases. Analyse and prepare reports using police systems, ensuring compliance with data protection laws. Attend Child Protection Conferences to share information and shape safeguarding plans. Assess risks and make evidence-based decisions to protect vulnerable children. Maintain communication with Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub staff. Update police databases and records accurately. Prioritise workloads, meet deadlines, and support colleagues across the force. Collaborate effectively within a team to uphold force values and objectives.

Awareness of child protection procedures and safeguarding practices. Experience in research, analysis, handling confidential information, and working under time constraints. Familiarity with computer systems, data evaluation, and partnership or busy office environments. Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical, communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
