Are you an enthusiastic and creative Art teacher with a passion for supporting students with special educational needs? Our SEN school in Wandsworth is looking for an Art Teacher to provide engaging, hands-on lessons that support students' creative expression and personal development. Role Overview: As an Art Teacher in an SEN school, you will use your artistic skills to help students explore their creativity and develop their personal interests in a safe and inclusive environment. Your lessons will help students with SEND build confidence and improve their self-expression through art.,

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver creative art lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with SEND.
  • Support students in expressing their emotions and ideas through various forms of art.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to create a holistic and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage growth and development.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages creativity and self-expression.

    QTS with a strong background in teaching art.
  • Experience working with students with SEND, preferably in a specialist setting.
  • A creative and flexible approach to teaching and differentiation.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
