Inpatient Adult Psychiatry Specialty Doctor (Goodmayes Hospital)

You will join two full-time Consultant Psychiatrists, a 0.6wte Associate Specialist, and 3wte Core Trainees in the service, and will have the opportunity to influence future direction, treatment, and models of design in the area in which you work.

Full GMC Registration with a license to practice

Section 12 certification, or a commitment to work towards this.

Mastery in the management of a broad range of mental disorders in adults

At least 4 years of full-time postgraduate training (or its equivalent gained on a part-time basis) of which at least 2 years will be in a specialty training programme in a relevant specialty or as a fixed term specialty trainee or shall have equivalent experience and competencies, To be innovative, motivated, and passionate about adult mental health care,

Essential understanding of current developments in mental health care,

We are currently recruiting for an Adult Psychiatry Specialty Doctor to our Inpatient services based Goodmayes Hospital, Barley Lane, Ilford IG3 8XJ. This is a new post, due to additional demand on service delivery. We are keen to recruit to this position as soon as possible.
