Full Job Description

Important note for candidates - unfortunately, we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role and the minimum number of hours available per week is 22.5. We are looking for enthusiastic and dependable colleagues with Health and / or Social Care experience who can contribute to the care of our patients with kindness, compassion and empathy. Ward 1 at St Lukes Hospital specialises in stroke care and is led by nurses. You will work under their guidance as part of a very supportive team using your skills and knowledge to deliver excellent services to our patients. You will be supported to complete the Care Certificate if you do not already hold this and we actively encourage on-going development. The post will provide cover on a rota basis over a 24 hour per day, 7 day a week service.,

  • Undertaking clinical observations and providing clinical care as delegated.
  • Supporting our patients in maintaining their health, well-being and independence.
  • Providing personal care.
  • Accurately recording patient information.
  • Working collaboratively and co-operatively with others to meet the needs of patients and their families.
