Full Job Description
Rutland Memorial Hospital is looking for Health Care Assistants to join our team. Our ward is led by nurses and you will work under their guidance as part of a very supportive group of staff. The ward provides sub-acute care, palliative care and rehabilitation. We are looking for people who have experience in working within health or social care and can contribute to the service we provide to our patients with kindness, compassion and empathy. You will be supported to complete the Care Certificate if you do not already hold this and we actively encourage on-going development. The post will provide cover on a rota basis over a twenty-four hour per day, seven day a week period and the shift pattern available is long days which are 11.5 working hours. Full and part time posts are available.,
- Undertaking clinical observations and providing clinical care as delegated.
- Supporting our patients in maintaining their health, well-being and independence.
- Providing personal care.
- Accurately recording patient information.
- Working collaboratively and co-operatively with others to meet the needs of patients and their families.
