We are excited to announce an opportunity for a dynamic and skilled Instructor Demonstrator in Media at our Deeside campus. This role is central to our commitment to providing high-quality, practical learning experiences to our students in various media-related programmes. The primary purpose of this position is to engage and inspire students through the delivery of practical sessions. You will play a crucial role in supervising and instructing students in the hands-on aspects of their courses, ensuring that they gain valuable, real-world skills. In addition, you will be responsible for the routine duties associated with maintaining a high standard of practice in our media programs. As an Instructor Demonstrator, your responsibilities include delivering structured practical instruction and demonstrations directly to student groups. Preparation is key; you will be expected to organise a schedule of practical activities based on information from course coordinators and lecturers. A significant part of your role involves monitoring student progress in practical skills, attendance, discipline, and overall performance. You will assess their competence, provide necessary feedback, and take appropriate actions to support their development., The promotion of the welsh language is an essential part of the work we do. - Qualified to a minimum of Level 3 or equivalent in a professionally relevant subject matter
- Demonstrate an understanding of current developments within your own specialist area and ways of keeping up to date with such developments
- Recent industrial experience in the relevant specialist area
- Able to identify, interpret and apply specific knowledge to practice
