This position is a Fixed Term Contract for 24 months plus 6 months EPA.

As an Insurance Apprentice, you will be expected to:

  • To process insurance claims made by and against the Sovini Group, and to support the Risk

  • Ensure that insurance claims are accurately recorded and updated ensuring the relevant procedures are followed

  • Gather required information to support claims within agreed timescales documentation and evidence as requested.

  • Keep regular communication with all those involved in the claims process to ensure necessary actions are completed.

  • liaise with Employee witnesses in providing statements and support where required, prior to Court Attendance.

  • Carry out reconciliations of Group's vehicles against Motor Insurance Database (MID) records, report and correct discrepancies.

  • Report any trends identified in claims statistics, to the Risk & Assurance Coordinator.

  • To provide support to the Risk and Assurance Team in the maintenance of the Risk and Assurance Framework.

  • To be flexible and provide cover and support across the wider Finance Department.

  • To undertake any other duties required commensurate with the grade and post.

  • To meet appraisal targets and support the delivery and achievement of overall business objectives.

    English and math GCSE 4-9 Grade or predicted grade

  • Ability to be flexible and adaptive to change.

  • Ability to work in an agile working environment.

  • To Show a willingness to learn and further develop

  • Excellent communication skills, able to communicate across multiple channels including Microsoft Teams, Face to Face and Email.

  • Experience or Knowledge of the below would be advantageous but not essential:
  • Awareness of job role for the applied position

  • Experience of working in a team (can include voluntary work)

  • Ability to follow processes and procedures.

  • Confidence with computers and experience with or willingness to learn PowerPoint, and Word.

  • Takes an organised approach to managing the time and workload.

  • Shows attention to detail and can work on a variety of tasks.

  • Able to work as part of a team as well as own initiative.

    Competitive salary - £13,993.00

  • Hours - 36 per week (Monday-Friday).
