Full Job Description

As a Director in our Insurance practice, you will have proven your delivery track record across Insurance ( Commercial or London Markets), and be driven to build steady relationships across to provide value to our current and new clients.

You will be ready for the challenge of helping to build a Insurance portfolio for the Invent brand, bringing your network and content credibility to bear. You will be typically partnering across one or more accounts and will lead on one or two.

As a leader in the Invent Insurance team, you will form a team and provide that thought leadership to drive and grow the team., As a Director in the business you'll help set the direction, driving forward the business, model our values and behaviours, and coach and develop junior members of the team. Key expectations from this role include:

  • Manage and grow one or more Invent Insurance accounts across the entire Invent offering portfolio

  • Pro-actively open new connections and bring the team with you to maximise impact on client

  • Pick up a specific area of Insurance know-how and become the go to focal point for it

  • Help the Insurance leadership to drive aggressive recruitment in the marketplace Balance optimally sales and delivery - be hands-on as needed in support of the teams



  • As part of your role you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the business and your own personal growth, through activities that form part of the following categories:
  • Business Development - Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events.

  • Internal contribution - Campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.

  • Learning & development - Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.

    Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation, and to enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions.

  • Experience of proposition building and delivery within the Insurance sector

  • Currently working in a major Consulting firm, and/or in industry but having a Consulting background.

  • Business development - utilising a combination of the organisation's broader pre-existing relationships, company relationships and your own network, you'll be generating c .£2m of consulting revenues (Director)
