Full Job Description
As a Child Development Adviser, you will provide support and advice to families of children with complex needs, empowering parents and carers to develop their child's play and learning. You will also support professionals in settings to develop their skills and capacity to promote positive outcomes at the point of transition.
As well as working with parents, you will work alongside other professionals from Health, Social Care and SEND, employing Early Support principles.
We are looking for a person to work in in centre south of the county, based Saltisford, Warwick, preferably full time. We are also looking for a person to work preferably 0.6 in the north of the county. The role is term time only.
The IDS 0-5 team combines Specialist Teachers, Child Development Advisers and SEND Childcare Co-ordinators, who support children with a range of SEND in their home prior to nursery, or in their childcare or EY setting. We work within a wider SEND Education Service providing support from 0-25.
We are looking for a motivated, resourceful and enthusiastic practitioner to work with children and their families at home or transitioning into an EY setting.
