Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Engineer - Hybrid

Our team is growing fast and we are looking for a self-starting, motivated and experienced Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Engineer to support in the execution of all Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities for an in-service UK Defence system undergoing a mid-life upgrade. To this end, the ILS engineer will be responsible for supporting activities to develop and maintain the Support Management Plan and ILS Plan and for publishing regular Supportability Analysis Reports, Technical Data (tech pubs), Maintenance Planning and Management Reports, Maintenance Procedures, Maintenance Reports, Operation Reports, Obsolescence Management Reports, Disposal Procedures, and Disposal Reports. You will support the delivery of our existing projects and help to secure future business, enabling us to evolve and grow within our target markets, whilst giving you the opportunity to work on some of the most exciting and interesting projects and programmes across the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) and Government portfolio. Reporting to the ILS Manager, typical activities that the successful candidate will be response for undertaking are:

• Execution of ILS activities in accordance with the defined Integrated Support Plan (ISP), encompassing all ILS related functions including:
• Supportability Analysis; Reliability, Availability and Maintainability; Maintenance Planning; Sustainability; Supply Support; Technical Publications;
• Packaging, handling, Storage and Transportation; Obsolescence and; Disposal.
• Building, managing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Inform/review complex system architectures and design, ensuring the application of ILS principles at a system level design stages.
• Execution of in-service support activities.
  
  High degree of experience in the execution of one or more specific ILS disciplines (e.g., obsolescence management, supportability analysis)
• Understanding and knowledge of the full breadth of ILS related disciplines and willingness to broaden your experience.
• Awareness of Def-Stan 00-600 and the Defence Logistics Framework (DLF).
• Experience of working on projects delivering to the UK MoD is highly desirable, but not essential.
• Good communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to manage stakeholder relationships.
• Ability to work flexibly across a wide variety of projects as part of a diverse team of people.
• Currently hold, or be willing and able to apply and obtain, SC clearance.
