Full Job Description

The Integrated Mental Health and Clinical Substance Misuse Manger role is an integral part of the enthusiastic and motivated HMP Garth Healthcare Management Team.

The Manager will have the competences to ensure that the service provides high quality care which is safe and well led.

A supportive and visible leader who will hold direct line management responsibilities for the clinical team; ensuring that all staff are clear about what is expected and are demonstrating excellent team work to achieve the best outcomes for our patients.

Implement programmes of change and improve clinical care including helping promote a culture where staff feel empowered, well trained and valued.

Ensuring the workforce is appropriately staffed with the right level of knowledge, skill, and expertise to deliver the service in the most effective and efficient way.

You must be confident in dealing with a wide range of situations and working with other professionals to develop effective and excellent working relationships and partnerships to ensure we provide the best care to patients within the prison.

To support and undertake all aspects of investigation process as required.

To ensure areas of responsibility are fully compliant with all relevant Trust policies and procedures and are part of and contribute effectively to systems of clinical governance.

To provide on call support as required/rostered
