Full Job Description

Aneurin Bevan University Health Board supports approximately 5500 births per year. We are able to offer a range of opportunities for midwives working within our services.

Our community midwifery teams, support antenatal and postnatal care whilst facilitating births at home, and within the free standing birth centre at Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr ( YYF) , and the birthing pod in Ysbyty Aneurin Bevan (YAB) in Ebbw Vale. We are able to offer pool births at each of our sites. These positions will provide the opportunity to enhance your clinical knowledge and skills in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Ante Clinics are provided in the Local General Hospital sites, at Ystrad Mynach, Nevill Hall Hospital , Royal Gwent Hospital County & Ysbyty Aneurin Bevan These clinics provide care closer to home for the local population

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
