Full Job Description
We are recruiting foran Integrated Midwife who wishes to join #TeamIOWNHS. You should share our passion and drive to ensure that our women, birthing people and families receive high quality and compassionate care in co production with our service users and work with us to ensure the Trust continues its journey towards "great people, great place".
Isle of Wight Maternity Services have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Band 6 Midwife to join our committed and highly skilled team of midwives working across the maternity service.
We are seeking an innovative and flexible Midwife that will work within our integrated approach to providing care to the women, birthing people, and their families. This will include working both in the acute and community setting, and providing a home birth service. You would cover a range ofday and nightshifts and also participate in the on-call service.
Working within a small, cohesive unit can provide you with the unique experience of providing personalised care and being skilled in all areas of the maternity service. As a team we strive to provide excellent individualised, evidence-based care to around 1000 women and birthing people each year and support them to make informed choices about their care. We take pride in enhancing the pregnancy and birth experience for all women and birthing people, ensuring informed choice is at the forefront of our agenda.
The IOW Maternity Service is also part of the SHIP collaborative and works in partnership with our neighbouring trusts, including joint training and multiple opportunities for collaborative working. Our service is proud to offer development opportunities and support career progression.
