We are seeking candidates with the following skills and experience, and we will assess your entire application against these essential criteria: 1. You can work both collaboratively and independently, building strong relationships with partners and colleagues. You are flexible in achieving team goals and willing to take on a variety of tasks. 2. You excel in both written and verbal communication, producing clear, concise, and accurate records and reports. You confidently handle enquiries from staff and partners, demonstrating a customer-focused approach. 3. You are proficient with computer systems, showcasing accurate keyboard and data entry skills. You are competent in using Windows-based software, including spreadsheets and databases. 4. You can identify potential risks, assess data quality and accuracy, and consider information in context. You make connections between different pieces of information to evaluate their relevance and risk. 5. You manage your time effectively, meeting deadlines without needing constant supervision. You remain calm and efficient, even under pressure. 6. You use your initiative to search for and process information, making reasoned and responsible decisions that consider all relevant factors. 7. You have a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent), including English.

This role is within a unit where Surrey Police and Sussex Police work in collaboration, whilst remaining two separate legal entities/employers with different terms and conditions. Both Surrey Police staff and Sussex Police staff are employed in this unit on their own force terms and conditions. Successful candidates may be appointed on the terms and conditions of employment of either Surrey Police or Sussex Police, depending on organisational requirements. A discussion will be held with the successful candidate to confirm the details of location, salary, allowances and hours.
