Full Job Description

To co-ordinate ICNARC (Intensive Care National Audit and Research Centre) data collection. This role will involve collecting ICNARC data on all critical care admissions. The role will also support the clinical information system in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). There will also be an additional role as link nurse/s with the research team to support, embed and raise the profile of research in the ICU, The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • co-ordinate ICNARC (intensive Care national Audit and Research Centre) data collection
  • support the transition and ongoing work to integrate a clinical information system in ICU
  • To support, embed and raise the profile of the research in ICU
  • To participate in internal and national audit programmes
  • Work within the multidisciplinary team.
  • Will be required to be an enthusiastic and integral member of our established and committed team.
  • To drive and improve quality of patient care in ICU
  • To be responsible for generating reports
  • To promote the importance of audit and accurate data collection
