Full Job Description

In conjunction with the Matrons the post holder will work across organisational boundaries to ensure appropriate services are in place and to deliver national and local strategic and operational service objectives and standards.

The Directorate Manager is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective day-to-day running of the Clinical Directorate and delivering key quality, performance and financial plans, achieving key service improvements within the Clinical Directorate and line managing designated staff., The postholder is a key member of the senior Clinical Directorate leadership team and will develop and implement Directorate plans to secure the agreed objectives for the Clinical Directorate and make a positive contribution to delivery of health care across the local health community.
