About the Role This is a great fast-paced secondment opportunity for a talented professional in our dynamic department, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our financial management strategy. In this exciting position, you'll lead all aspects of financial management, from quarterly forecasting to month-end processes and financial control. Your primary goal will be to enhance and streamline our existing practices, making a real impact on our operations. You'll collaborate closely with our administration team, gaining valuable insights into departmental functions and engaging with colleagues at all levels. Plus, enjoy the flexibility of hybrid working!

About You You are preferably Oracle-trained at the University and possess strong financial skills, ready to tackle challenges head-on. If you are not University Oracle-trained but have substantial budgeting and forecasting experience there may be an opportunity to fast track your path to the necessary systems access. As a quick learner, you'll adapt seamlessly to new challenges, bringing a resilient and robust mindset that allows you to tackle tasks with confidence and minimal supervision. Your strong communication skills will enable you to connect effectively with colleagues at all levels, making you an invaluable part of our team. Student Welfare and Support Services (SWSS) is a department with the Academic Administration Division (AAD) of the University. Our department includes the Counselling Service, Disability Advisory Service and Sexual Harassment & Violence Support Service. The services are located within the same building and work collaboratively to provide coherent and easily accessible support to all students.
