Full Job Description

We are looking for an Interim Head of Financial Planning & Analysis to join RBL on a 6 month Fixed Term basis. This key role will see you providing high quality financial information and advice to the Executive Board, Finance Committee, Audit and Risk Committee and Board of Trustees of the RBL Group. Managing a team of Finance Business Partners, you will coordinate annual budgeting and forecasting process and support the delivery of in year financial results by business partnering with various Executive Directors and Directors across RBL Group. Reporting to the Director: Group Financial Planning & Analysis, key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead a team of Senior Finance Business Partners for RBL (excluding Care Homes), ensuring the delivery of high-quality information and challenge to the Executive Directors, Directors and Budget Holders
  • Support the financial input for the preparation and review of the overall RBL Strategy and the preparation of the annual Corporate Plan
  • Co-ordinate the annual budget exercise for RBL Group
  • Prepare management reporting for the RBL Group and analyse the financial data shown in the management accounts to assist Executive Directors in preparing a comprehensive monthly commentary for their function
  • Act as a member of the Finance Management Team, contributing to the development of departmental strategic objectives, customer service standards and a shared team Vision and ethos.

  • You will be contracted to our London, Haig House Hub. Under our Future Working framework, there will be some flexibility for working remotely/at home, using our collaboration tools to work with colleagues, but with a minimum expectation of two days/week connecting directly face-to-face with colleagues at the hub. This is a 6 month Fixed Term Contract opportunity with a planned start of late 2024. Applicants should be immediately or short notice available for start.
