Full Job Description

  • Support the Country Manager, and work with the country team, by bringing the country strategy into a plan of how we will win in market. Pull the Country Strategy and Marketing Strategy into a quarterly GTM brief and execution plan
  • Own and drive the GTM process for the market and ladder-up to the overall Quarterly GTM process for Trainline
  • + Clarify quarterly priorities (including scoping) and drive alignment on core customer propositions to set direction as owners of the GTM brief + Collate, distil & cascade all relevant information about customer, markets and priorities which support the brief's objectives and strategies + Build GTM plans that align cross-functional activity (across organisation and across agencies) + Ensure channel responses address priorities and objectives of GTM brief + Ensure messaging & concepts delivered answer the brief + Identify opportunities for integration and amplification across the channels + Ensure plans are bigger, bolder, sharper + Continually optimise activity, reducing wastage and using resources efficiently + Check delivery against plans and ensure on-time delivery to market + Provide updates, quarterly summaries and identifying key learnings with the functions (dependent on bandwidth) + Setup OKRs with the teams to track performance over the quarter, ensuring relevant, trackable KPIs are established whilst owning the cadence to check performance + Understand the market you operate in, from customer segmentation, competitor insights and emerging opportunities with supply
  • Collaborate with the wider GTM team (in particular the marketing teams) as well as the 'virtual country team' and other stakeholder groups from Supply to Product and Customer Service to ensure everyone is aligned on our agreed goals and prioritised initiatives and marketing plans
  • Help make trade-offs given constrained resources and the desire to get to market quickly, iterate and learn.
  • Build a learning agenda so that our GTM and business outcomes get sharper every quarter

    A strong marketing generalist who can also program manage in a fast-paced B2C context. Likely has worked in a GTM-like role before
  • Experience launching new propositions in market
  • Detail and process-oriented with a strong sense for customer, and a bias for action
  • Able to work across a multitude of functions and adapt style to achieve the outcome
  • Ability to challenge and persuade cross-functional audiences to act - from peers around the org to senior executives
  • Able to synthesise rapidly and present the GTM plan to a senior audience, surface trade-offs, with radical candour to get to an answer
