Full Job Description

Finegreen are currently supporting a large NHS Provider organisation in the Home Counties location, looking to appoint to the above role whilst they recruit to the permanent post. You will provide safeguarding leadership, management, and expertise to staff within the Trust which is an integrated Trust providing care to adults and children in acute and community settings. Assess what the Trust's statutory duty and responsibilities around safeguarding as outlined in the Safeguarding Children, Young People and Adults at risk in the NHS Safeguarding accountability and assurance framework (Version 3, 21 July 2022) plan to meet these needs accordingly. Assess the training and development needs relating to safeguarding for the whole organisation plan with the education team and colleagues in the local authority on how to deliver the training required. Work with the whole organisation to enable compliance with statutory training requirements adjusting to legal changes as required. Brief the executive team on organisational responsibilities in safeguarding writing quarterly and annual board reports to provide assurance. Monitor and report on safeguarding performance indicators. Prepare reports for the safeguarding committee and Quality committee. Overseeing corporate and service compliance with CQC and Ofsted standards relating to Safeguarding. The client will require some onsite working due to the management of a team; they could potentially look at someone providing part time support also as it will just be bridging the gap to the permanent recruitment takes place.

  • Registered Nurse / Allied Health Professional or Social Worker;
  • Relevant Masters or Equivalent Experience in Safeguarding;
  • Proven experience in development and implementation of corporate and professional strategies;
  • Proven experience in the implementation and monitoring of quality measurement and improvement tools;
  • Demonstrable experience of Managing teams
