Full Job Description

As the Project Lead you will have an overarching aim of leading on HR related change projects across the organisation. Reporting to the People Manager (Group) you will be responsible for managing all acquisition/integration activity including due diligence, project management, stakeholder relationships and harmonisation and standardisation where appropriate.

As an experienced people professional, using your knowledge and experience in this area, you will play a key role in the delivery of our people strategy around transformation and growth.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

-To lead in the delivery of corporate change programmes - this may include -organisational restructures/TUPE, mergers or acquisitions.
-To design and develop toolkits/project plans/template letters and guidance documents to better influence and standardise all HR projects This could include toolkits for the business on TUPE/Acquisitions and other HR projects assigned.
-To liaise with both incoming and outgoing employers in relation to acquisitions/TUPE. This will also involve working with the People Support Lead to ensure that all administrative tasks are completed within time.
-Collaborate with other teams in HR and Legal to ensure all aspects of the acquisition/TUPE process are compliant with legal requirements.
-To promote develop and coach other members of the people team to effectively and efficiently manage all change projects in relation to TUPE/Acquisitions. This could involve mentoring HR advisors on all stages of TUPE and Acquisitions including consultation requirements, due diligence and project management.
-To deliver a professional people partnering service to leaders across the organization ensuring high levels of advice and delivery.
-To have the ability to partner with senior stakeholders whilst being credible and influential. This may involve supporting and advising managers throughout the change process.
-To have the ability to produce, analyse and interpret information, acting and making recommendations as appropriate. This could include analysing and making recommendations on due diligence information to inform an acquisition.
-To provide expert advice to senior leaders on best practice or opportunities to develop our approach to acquisitions/TUPE. This will include how we can make positive behavioral change within our leadership teams to support in creating a supportive, inclusive and trusted workplace.
-To support the organisation to implement efficiency programs requiring change management and continually drive efficiency and demonstrate value for money.
-To act as a key member of the People team sharing best practice and develop cross organisational working. This may involve coordination with other HR teams to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to the transfer process.
-Ability to deliver strategic projects to time & budget as directed by the People Manager (Group)
-Act as the main point of contact throughout the change process. This may involve addressing any queries or uncertainties promptly and professionally.
-Ability to prepare reports. Preparing all necessary documentation and reports, ensuring accuracy for both internal and external purposes.

Strong knowledge and experience of acquisitions, mergers, and TUPE
-Excellent planning and prioritisation skills with the ability to set and work to (personal, team and organisation) deadlines.
-Coaching & Mentoring skills
-Excellent influencing and people skills with people at all levels, internally and externally.
-Track record in delivering successful organisational change projects.
-Knowledge and experience of generalist HR and supporting the wider team on other HR Change projects

Qualifications & Training

-CIPD qualification

This role is a temporary position for 12 months.
This role is Band II as per our structure. Due to occasional travel required for this role we require a driver with the use of a vehicle.
