Leeds Centre of Mission reaches teenagers across the Seacroft area with the love and the good news of Jesus, seeking to make disciples and to grow new forms of church. These young people mainly come from unchurched backgrounds and are often face many challenges in life and can present challenging behaviour. Through nearly 5 years of ministry many young people have come to greatly appreciate the ministry of Church Army, have been helped to make changes in their lives, and have begun to take steps of faith.

The focus has been on a Christian presence in two high schools, a mid-week biker outreach repairing bicycles and motorbikes, and through two Friday night youth clubs (one for year 4-6 students and another for year 7-11s).

The Lead Evangelist will be leaving at the end of July 2024, and it is our intention to appoint a new lead evangelist later this year.

You will be supported by a member of the Missional Youth Church initiative of Church Army and the CA Mission Development Officer who will give regular guidance, supervision and telephone support where needed. Once a Lead Evangelist is appointed it will be your responsibility to work with and under them, in evangelism, innovative mission, making disciples and continuing to grow the mission.
