Full Job Description

We are looking for a new Interim Asset Manager to join our Warwick District Council Assets Team with the drive to better our current offerings to our customers, colleagues and clients., With our easily accessible central location, and Royal Leamington Spa rated the best place to live in the Midlands, it's not hard to see why businesses, residents and visitors are drawn to our vibrant and unique district.

We are clear about our vision to ensure that Warwick District is a great place to live, work and visit and be carbon neutral by 2030 and we are looking for a new forward thinking Interim Asset Manager who will bring innovation, transformation and efficiencies across the Council to help achieve initial 'Key Objectives':

1. Review the existing asset management team structure
2. Design and recommend a new HRA asset management service that would separate out the GF and HRA functions
3. Prepare the HRA asset management team to re-integrate into the regulated housing department
4. Working with the Council's procurement consultant be the strategic lead for the Responsive Repairs re-procurement project
5. Oversee the Asset Compliance Action Plan
6. Lead the development of the HRA asset management strategy

The intention is for the postholder to work predominately from home however, it is a requirement to attend our offices or sites within Warwick District as required. Any costs for travel from home to the office will be met by the successful candidate. However, office and hybrid working are also available.
