Full Job Description

Reporting in to the Chief People Officer, the Interim Talent Development Partner will deliver several strategic projects across all operations and regions. You will need to engage your stakeholders to ensure they understand, support and co-deliver the execution of the Professional Growth agenda to the highest standard.

By providing training and development opportunities, you will contribute to our success and ensure that our employees are equipped with the necessary skills to excel in their roles and promote us in promoting a culture of learning and professional growth.

Requirements
As an Interim Talent Development Partner, you will:

  • Create a training strategy and policy for ITRS.


  • Identify training and development needs.


  • Design and expand training and development programmes based on the needs of the organisation and you (including the production of training materials for in-house courses).


  • Plan and manage the evaluation (Return on investment) of training and development programmes


  • Review and develop the onboarding programme for new team members.


  • Look after the L&D budget.


  • Work with managers to help them design career pathways for their employees.


  • Create a range of training using classroom, online and blended learning.


  • Maximise the use of the LMS for internal purposes. For example, we can place the onboarding, D&I training and management training materials on the LMS.


  • Ensure that statutory training requirements are met (assist legal and security with their annual training, place on the LMS, ensure it is delivered).


  • Contribute to talent mapping and succession planning.

  • Experience as a learning & development professional.


  • Current knowledge of learning and development methods.


  • Experience with talent management practices such as talent mapping and succession planning.


  • Experience shaping career plans.


  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices.


  • Experience in project management and budgeting.


  • Highly resilient and able to work at pace on multiple projects or change programmes.


  • Experience of Learning Management Systems (LMS).


  • Excellent communication skills.


  • Ability to build rapport with employees and vendors.


  • Effective influencing skills, able to work cross-functionally and with contacts at all levels in the organisation.


  • A strong public speaker and facilitator.


  • Define innovative solutions to business-critical situations.


  • Proactive independent, with an eye for detail.


  • Experience of working with a dispersed workforce.
