Full Job Description

We are seeking a talented and innovative Interior Designer to join our dynamic team in London, United Kingdom. As an Interior Designer, you will play a crucial role in creating stunning, functional, and sustainable interior spaces for a diverse range of projects.

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, requirements, and budget constraints
  • Develop creative and practical interior design concepts that align with client needs and project goals
  • Create detailed 2D and 3D design plans, including layouts, elevations, and cross-sections
  • Select and specify appropriate materials, finishes, furniture, and decor elements
  • Work closely with architects, engineers, and other design professionals to ensure cohesive project execution
  • Prepare documentation for planning applications and maintain up-to-date portfolios of building types
  • Ensure compliance with architectural guidelines, building codes, and safety regulations
  • Present design concepts to clients and stakeholders using visual aids and samples
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and budget requirements
  • Stay current with industry trends, innovative materials, and sustainable design practices

    Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
  • Proven experience as an Interior Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects
  • Proficiency in BIM/REVIT and other Autodesk products
  • Excellent knowledge of space planning, color theory, and material selection
  • Strong skills in 2D and 3D design software, including AutoCAD and SketchUp
  • Experience with rendering software such as 3ds Max, V-Ray, or Enscape
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
  • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and sustainable design practices
  • Exceptional creativity and attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong time management skills and ability to handle multiple projects
  • Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with advanced design tools such as Grasshopper or Dynamo
  • Knowledge of virtual reality (VR) applications in interior design
  • LEED or other sustainable design certifications
  • Experience working on international projects
  • Additional Information Candidates will be required to have a BPSS security check undertaken to work some sectors.
