Full Job Description

The Guidehouse Internship Program staffs interns on real world projects, showcases the Guidehouse culture, and provides interns with a meaningful consulting experience. Interns work with teams and provide real-time deliverables in support of Guidehouse clients and research reports. Each intern is paired with a Buddy to serve as a resource that can assist them in navigating their Guidehouse experience., Intern Research Associate responsibilities include authoring research reports and briefs, creating quantitative models and forecasts, interacting with clients and the press, authoring one or more articles for industry publications, delivering presentations, and contributing to consulting engagements. This position requires the ability to effectively communicate thought-provoking and original analytical findings to a client base that includes energy companies, technology vendors, service providers, the investor community, industry organizations, and government agencies. Additional responsibilities for this position may include,

  • Solid quantitative analysis, ability to create forecasts in Excel using assumptions gleaned from primary research and existing infrastructure databases

  • Strong secondary research/information discovery and aggregation skills

  • Excellent presentation skills and executive presence

  • Experience dealing with clients and delivering high-quality and responsive client service/international client experience preferred

  • Technology market research / industry analysis experience is strongly preferred

  • Excitement about delving into the energy sector

    Minimum Degree Status Required: Graduating with an undergraduate or advanced degree in 2025 or later
