Reporting directly to the Head of Internal Audit, you'll plan, perform, and report on internal audits, providing critical insights to SZC's Executive Team and Audit & Risk Committee., You'll be part of a project that's setting new benchmarks for energy security in the UK. Work in a highly regulated and collaborative environment with a diverse group of stakeholders, including the government, investors, and leading industry experts. Play a key role in ensuring that SZC delivers value for money, safety, and operational excellence across the entire project lifecycle. You'll have the opportunity to shape the internal audit function, adopting cutting-edge audit methodologies and industry best practices. Extensive experience in internal auditing within large, complex organisations or from a Big 4 professional services firm. A strategic thinker with a deep understanding of risk and control frameworks, capable of providing foresight and insight to senior management. Excellent communication and project management skills, with a proven ability to deliver high-impact audits that drive meaningful change. Professional qualifications (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CIA) and a solid track record of success in the audit, assurance, or risk space.

• Sizewell C Limited will be moving offices from 90 Whitfield Street to 25 Copthall Avenue.
25 Copthall Avenue is a modern building just a short walk from Moorgate and Liverpool Street stations. Sizewell C will occupy the whole of the 4th floor. We are targeting a move in February 2025. This role will be contractually based at 25 Copthall Avenue. However, depending on the date of the move there may be a period that you will be required to work temporarily from our existing office at 90 Whitfield Street.
