Full Job Description

We have an opportunity for an Auditor to join our small team on a temporary basis, ideally this would be full time (37 hours) however flexible/reduced hours would be considered.

You must have experience of working in a financial environment and the ability to work accurately with figures and be able to produce accurate and concise working papers.
The successful applicant must have good inter-personal skills and the ability to communicate assertively with all levels of employees across the organisation. Working to deadlines is also important, along with the ability to challenge, investigate and test risks within the organisation.
For level 1 the applicant will be part AAT qualified, have experience of computerised accounting/other financial systems and a minimum of 2 years working in a financial environment.
For level 2 the applicant will be fully AAT qualified, have experience of computerised accounting/other financial systems and a minimum of 5 years working in a financial environment.
The post will be based at the Town Hall in Matlock, though remote working would be considered for part of the time.
