Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced communications professional to join the Bank's central internal communications team. As a key member of the team you will partner with colleagues in our People function to provide creative communications advice and support on areas such as, learning, reward, future talent, recruitment and performance. This is a fascinating time for the Bank as we roll out our new 3-year strategy, including the expansion of our presence in Leeds and work with business areas to ensure our employees are informed and engaged with the Bank's vision. The role offers a great opportunity to create internal communications plans that support our people initiatives. You will become an expert on our channels and provide advice on how best to reach the desired audience. You will think strategically about how communications fit into the Bank's overall strategy and ensure you're measuring the success of any message.,

  • Work with colleagues to maintain a strategic forward plan of communications activity across our People Function.
  • Write and edit communications material for our internal communications platforms.
  • Work with our channel manager to maintain our O365 channels, including our Sharepoint intranet and VivaEngage
  • Work collaboratively with internal partners to provide timely and relevant communications advice -including helping to develop campaign plans for important initiatives.
  • Measure your communications output and feed this information back to ensure lessons are learnt.

    Are you a skilled communicator with a passion for creative content that can help to inspire and motivate our colleagues?, Excellent written and oral communications with an ability to prepare clear narratives and communications that explain complicated material in succinct and easy to understand ways.
  • Strong collaboration skills with experience of using personal initiative to deliver.
  • Demonstrable ability to work and multi-task in a complex and fast-paced environment.
